TerraRec® is an intermittently liquid building material which can be produced from any type of gravel, excavated material or recycling material together with of environment-friendly additives. It is particularly suitable for the filling of drainage and conduit systems, for backfilling and filling in of earth and subsurface constructions, and always when there is a need for an environment-friendly way of construction.
The advantages of TerraRec®:
Environment-friendly: TerraRec® saves resources. Excavated material is not disposed of but reconstituted into an intermittently liquid environment-friendly compound and re-used.
Saves costs: no disposal site fees and no costs for ground replacement material or filling material.
Capable of flowing: TerraRec® is intermittently capable of flowing. Objects such as conduits or cavities are completely enveloped or filled in, there is no subsequent settling of material.
Self-compacting: TerraRec® is a self-compacting building material and therefore there is no need for special compacting machines. Building noise and tremors are avoided.
Universally deployable: properties (for example flowing capacity, consistency) and functions (for example fixing of toxic substances) of TerraRec® allow type and quantity of additives to be adjusted depending on the desired purpose.
TerraRec® is classified as environmentally nonhazardous by EMPA (Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology). The production and delivery of TerraRec® is subject to a quality management in line with the present state of technology.
